On Friday Our teacher let us make a GIANT hot cross bun I did the giant cross at the end, It was difficult Because i had to do it in the bread maker. We used a bread maker instead of an oven, the whole school did hot cross buns we got to choose butter or jam or even both! Here are what the hotcross bun is made of
- sure bake yeast
- White sugar
- salt
- Edmonds high grade flour
- edmonds wholemeal flour
- oil(light olive or canola
- water (Room temperature
- 1 egg
- citrus rind (Optional)
- ground cinnamon
- mixed spice
- soft brown sugar
- sultanas
- currants
- 1/4 cup cold water
- tararua
