Parihaka Feather.

 About 2 weeks ago my class and I were learning to identify the main points, If found it challenging to learn about parihaka because that was the first time i had ever heard of it, I didnt know much about parihaka but I learnt alot more. next time I would proabably change the words on my feather and add more words onto it

For this Specific task I read and collected information witch lead me to further research aspects that i was unsure of in support of my understanding and i also created an information slide
I enjoyed researching facts about my least favorite animal.

Summary has to bee amazing

 In my reading group we have been learning how to summarise using 6 words. “What is summarising?” Summarising is a quick version of that story Relating all the topics but using your own words and making it shorter.
My reading group and I had to make a short story using words from a story so we basically recreated the story that we had just read. We picked 20 key words from the story we read and proceeded to get 6 important words from the 20 keywords.
Learning how to summarise was really interesting. It was hard at first but then I started to understand more about what we were doing. Definitely finding the keywords were the hardest part of this task

For reading we have been learning all about japan and its culture. We used what we had learnt in my class and I each had individual slides and added what we had learned into those slides.
Once we chose what slides we wanted to do we deleted the rest. 4-6 slides we had to choose a subject such as, Food, Sports, animals. 
I really enjoyed learning about Japan and their culture. It was very interesting as well.

Olympic education

 For week one we were learning how to skim and scan. (Research) information. I learnt things about the Olympics that I have never known before. For our task my class had to read books regarding the topic olympics. (Skim and scan for important words) we then made a slideshow on the ancient olympics, mascots, opening ceremony and finally, just olympic facts. This task was honestly challenging. Finding the information was the hardest part for me.

Sign language journey.

 In week 2 we started learning about sign language(Because it was sign language week) , We started learning to sign our names and my teacher Miss Hickling realised we were on assembly and that we should sign our names at the very end of the assembly we learnt this because of sign language week i've always wanted to learn sign language. My learning went well, I learnt a lot of new things and I really enjoyed learning some sign language. Do you know sign language?

basics of treaty waitangi facts.

Today in Class I was learning about treaty of waitangi and wrote down 10 facts about we learnt this because learn.create.share We learn about it we create we research we write the treaty of waitangi is important because it helps show respect. and helps mend others friendships. I found it hard because you had to research the teacher gave us 2-4ish videos why i found it hard is because you have to listen to the videos carfully to find facts, what id do differently next time is maybe take less of a time customizing and more focusing on the facts. 

Expermants (Filterd feeding)

Today for reading we did an experimant, it was really fun my buddies we're unaise, sophia and me
For the experimant we had to do filter feeding, we had to fold a filter paper in half then into a small circle and then and even smaller circle we then turned the filter paper  into a cone  after that we had another cone, a plastic one and put the filter paper cone into the plastic cone, we put the cones into something called a beaker someone had to hold down the filter paper cone so it wouldn't lift after that we put clean sea water (Fake sea water but acted like sea water)  in to the cone after it driped into the beaker then we put contaminated sea water (Again fake but acted like sea water) after the clean water dripped down we put contaminated sea water into the cones and it driped down into the clean sea water but the contaminated sea water filted out the contaminated sea water was yellow and the clean one was blue you know what colour it would turn into? thats it! it was a teal/green kinda colour
it was really cool i was excited to do the experimant.

Today this learning was about trying to find facts and maybe having some wows by people?

I found it challanging to find out a lot of the facts even tho I had a book of facts with me!

Im learning more and more each day some of these facts i didnt even know and have never heard of!

Today I was learning about eletricity. I enjoyed customizing I found it challenging to idk. My digital learning object shows I can insert images, insert text boxes, change text and backgrounds and embed my DLO in my blog.
